Adorkable (ah-dor-kuh-bul): Descriptive term meaning to be equal parts dorky and adorable. For reference, see Sally Spitz. Seventeen-year-old Sally Spitz is done with dating. Or at least, she's done with the horrible blind dates/hookups/sneak attacks her matchmaking bestie, Hooker, sets her up on. There's only so much one geek girl and Gryffindor supporter can take. Her solution: she needs a fake boyfriend. And fast. Enter Becks, soccer phenom, all-around-hottie, and Sally's best friend practically since birth. When Sally asks Becks to be her F.B.F. (fake boyfriend), Becks is only too happy to be used. He'd do anything for Sal--even if that means giving her PDA lessons in his bedroom, saying she's "more than pretty," and expertly kissing her at parties. The problem: Sally's been in love with Becks all her life--and he's completely clueless. This book features two best friends, one special edition Yoda snuggie, countless beneath-the-ear kisses and begs the question: Who wants a real boyfriend when faking it is so much more fun?
My Review
I really wasn’t expecting to love this book as much as I do now (twice actually because i read this book a few years ago and I still love it), obviously, it is now one of my very favorites and one that I’ll recommend to all my bookish friends. So here’s the thing Sally our lead girl isn’t portrait as the beautiful girl that doesn’t know it, she’s more a shy girl and don’t get me wrong she isn’t ugly, she just more a relatable character and she loves movies, those really nerd ones but she makes it work with Becks.
Becks has been her BFF through all those years and he obviously is the ZAC EFRON of her school. Is not that you don’t expect them to be in love of each after everything they do together and how much time they spend together but is so interested how the author plays with the idea of a fake bf and how things develop through the pages and how the little secrets that both of them have been hiding comes to the light.
Most of the time I was so mad at Becks because even though, they were only faking the relationship he let all those girls flirt with him so you kind of doubt if he has feelings for Sally for real. But you get to the point where you understand why is he doing it and why he’s hoping to get with it.
I won’t lie to you at all, you going to sit there and just devour the book in one sit because it so funny and all you want to do is keep turning pages to see what else is coming. The author gives to the words there so much meaning and turns it into this situation you can feel yourself on it that or you definitely have met someone to tell you after an hour he loves you and you are the girl of his dreams that it totally wraps you around so easily and smoothly.
Overall, you definitely need to give this a try. I highly recommend it and can’t wait to get my hands on more books from this author. Don’t even doubt to get a copy of adorkable because you going to love it and finish it in a blink of an eye. Fast-paced, humorous, cute, and relatable.

Realmente no esperaba amar este libro tanto como lo hago ahora, obviamente, ahora es uno de mis favoritos y uno que recomendaré a todos mis amigos lectores. Asà que aquà está Sally, nuestra chica principal no es el retrato, ya que es la chica hermosa que no lo sabe, es más una chica tÃmida y no me malinterpreten, no es fea, es más un personaje identificable y le encanta pelÃculas, esas realmente nerd pero ella hace que funcione con Becks.
Becks ha sido su mejor amiga durante todos esos años y obviamente él es el ZAC EFRON de su escuela. No es que no esperes que se enamoren de cada uno después de todo lo que hacen juntos y cuánto tiempo pasan juntos, sino que está tan interesado en cómo juega el autor con la idea de un novio falso y cómo se desarrollan las cosas a través de las páginas y cómo los pequeños secretos que ambos han estado escondiendo salen a la luz.
La mayorÃa de las veces estaba tan enojada con Becks porque, a pesar de que solo estaban fingiendo la relación, dejó que todas esas chicas coquetearan con él, por lo que dudas si tiene sentimientos por Sally de verdad. Pero llegas al punto en el que entiendes por qué lo está haciendo y por qué espera hacerlo.
No te mentiré en absoluto, te sentarás allà y devorarás el libro de una sola vez porque es muy divertido y todo lo que quieres hacer es seguir pasando las páginas para ver qué más viene. El autor le da a las palabras tanto significado y lo convierte en una situación en la que puedes sentirte en eso o definitivamente has conocido a alguien para decirte que después de una hora te ama y eres la chica de sus sueños que envuelve totalmente te rodea con tanta facilidad y sin problemas.
En general, definitivamente debes intentarlo. Lo recomiendo y no puedo esperar para obtener más libros de este autor. Ni siquiera dudes en obtener una copia de adorkable porque te va a encantar y terminar en un abrir y cerrar de ojos. De ritmo rápido, humorÃstico, lindo y relatable.
