Review + Giveaway: Airports, Exes and Other Things I'm Over

By Shani Petroff

With AIRPORTS, EXES, AND OTHER THINGS I'M OVER, Sharif Petroff delivers the perfect story mixed with a great humor and great characters.,about learning to listen to others Suri and Zev’s story is full of nerdy and warmth moments as they learn something about relationships together.

Sari Silver started her Spring Break in the worst way ever. First she walks into a party to find her boyfriend Zev with his ex-girlfriend in a really kissy situation. But worst than being humiliated in front of her classmates she realizes that they are head to Florida for Spring Break to visit their grandparents and spend some time together. OH Chessus KILL ME!

Zev keeps texting and calling and saying that he can explain everything and that it wasn't how it looked but she doesn't give him a chance. Obviously we girls don't believe the 'I can explain' phrase. Now all he had was that flight to try to convince her it wasn't what she thought.

The whole concept of trying to get home, no matter how it is done, continues to entertain me more when she was trying to hold back her feelings for her ex boyfriend and he was been so but so damn cute. It was just dreamy!

1. This book was a quick, fun and fast-paced read for sure and I enjoyed following the main characters' struggles

2. I appreciated the original setting and how short the chapters were.

3. It was cheesy read and I love cheesy reads.

As the many tangles smooth out and the chaos dissipates they were having at the airport and trying to get home plus Zev trying to get Suri. However Suri doesn't make it easy. She doesn't want to talk. She reads a text from Zev's ex and flirts with another guy.

Before too long, however she finds she can't resists him and that every moment they shared really matter something special for him and for her. I have to admit must of the time i wanted to to smack some sense into her but she is a teen so I forgive her LOl. We really need to understand that in any relationship the key of success if communication and sometimes we lack on that area.

Overall, this was a fast-paced, enjoyable YA romance.it was a great feel-good book to pick up. This is the first book I read by Sharif, and I’m loving the potential her stories and characters have.; they just give you the real feeling so you keep on reading.
