My Thoughts:

OMG!! Since I saw the cover of this book I knew I had to read it. I'm a super fan of Outlander and Jamie Fraser (aka Sam Heughan (my future husband)) so once I saw a man with a kilt I was ready to join the clans.

This book is absorbing, breathtaking, heartwarming, and absolutely lavishly and evokes the land and lore of Scotland. This story has everything a reader wants realistic characters and a hot Scottish man, likable and strong heroine.Shaw Sinclair, Chief of the Sinclair clan and he is strong, hot but has gone through so much and obviously has something to high and to deal with.

He is a strong man inside and out for sure as a kid he lost his dad and was abused by his uncle but not just that he has to endure and watch her mom and sister suffering from abuse too. Thanks to his uncle the clan has suffered and lost way too much and Shaw wants the crown to restore his home and lands. To do this he has to deliver a newborn baby girl to a boat in St. Andrews but things are never easy for him as he has to battle so bad guys and find someone to take care of the baby.

Alana Campbell, sister to the Laird of the southern Campbells and she is smart, clever, beautiful, and a warrior. She needs to get to Edinburg to rescue her mother. Shaw and Alana's paths cross as Shaw needs a woman to take care of the baby and kidnaps her. At the beginning she isn't that easy but once she knows their destination is the same she helps him.Somewhere along the way, Alana starts to fall and care for Shaw and the baby and they have a verra nice adventure and enough time to get to know each other. Through the pages, the Highlanders' daily life blends poignant emotions with Scottish wit, battles, and humor. I can't wait to read more and the rest of the books in this series.
